Service terms
These terms apply to the dog care and stay services provided by Ķepu Draugi, including daycare, boarding, walks, consultations, and other individually agreed services.
1. Booking and confirmation of service
By submitting the application form and agreeing to these terms, the owner confirms that the information provided is correct and that they have read and accepted these terms.
The service is provided only after confirmation by Ķepu Draugi.
If the application form has not been completed before the service is agreed, confirmation of the booking in any other remote form still means that the owner has read these terms and agrees to them.
2. Right to refuse or discontinue service
Ķepu Draugi reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service at its discretion if this is necessary for reasons of safety, animal welfare, group compatibility, the home environment, incomplete or false information, health considerations, or other significant circumstances.
If the dog’s behaviour, wellbeing, health condition, or actual suitability differs significantly from the information provided in the application or communication, Ķepu Draugi reserves the right to adapt the form of service, limit the dog’s participation, discontinue the service, and ask the owner to arrange collection of the dog.
3. Information provided by the owner
The owner confirms that all information provided in the application form and communication about the dog is true, complete, and up to date.
False, incomplete, or significantly withheld information may be grounds for refusing or discontinuing the service.
4. Dog’s health condition
The owner confirms that the dog is brought to Ķepu Draugi in a healthy condition and without visible signs of illness.
If, before or during the service, signs are noticed that may endanger the health or welfare of the dog, other animals, or people, Ķepu Draugi reserves the right to refuse or discontinue the service.
5. Urgent health situations
In urgent health situations, Ķepu Draugi will contact the owner as soon as possible and, where possible, agree on the next steps and choice of veterinarian.
If the owner cannot be reached, or if the situation requires immediate action, Ķepu Draugi has the right to contact a veterinarian and arrange the necessary first aid, examination, or treatment.
Any related costs are covered by the owner.
6. Cancellation or changes to the service
The service may be cancelled or the date changed no later than 24 hours before the agreed start of the service without an additional fee.
Later changes, no-shows, or last-minute cancellations are assessed individually.
7. Prices and payment
Service prices are set according to the price list published on the Ķepu Draugi website.
Ķepu Draugi reserves the right to change the price list at any time. Price changes do not apply to services that have already been confirmed.
The owner receives an invoice for the services provided. The invoice must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice, or no later than the time of collecting the dog, unless another payment arrangement has been agreed.
8. Items brought with the dog
The owner understands that items brought with the dog, including beds, blankets, clothing, toys, or other personal belongings, may become dirty, damaged, lost, or destroyed during the service.
Ķepu Draugi is not responsible for damage, loss, wear, or destruction of items brought with the dog.
9. Final provisions
These terms are binding from the moment the owner confirms them in the application form or agrees to them by confirming the service booking in another remote form.
If the owner does not agree to these terms, the service is not provided.
