How do I book a boarding stay?
If your dog has not stayed with us before, we usually start with an introduction day. After that, once we have seen how your dog feels in our environment, we can confirm a boarding reservation.
How are dog groups created?
Groups are formed thoughtfully, based on temperament, social experience, sensitivity, size, and energy level. Our goal is always a calm, predictable, and safe environment.
How active is a day at ĶepuDraugi?
A day includes movement, walks or field time, social experiences, and enough rest. We avoid unnecessary over-stimulation and keep a healthy balance between activity and calm.
How do you keep dogs safe?
Dogs are supervised throughout their stay. We require vaccinations, evaluate every dog before longer stays, and intentionally keep our groups small and manageable.
How do you communicate with owners?
We adapt communication to what helps you feel informed and calm. Some families prefer a short update. Others appreciate more detailed feedback, especially during a first stay.
Do you accept dogs with behavioural challenges?
We work with different temperaments and sensitivity levels, and some uncertainty in a new environment is normal.
However, our environment is not suitable for dogs with serious aggression history or dogs who cannot safely be managed around other dogs or people. If you are unsure whether your dog is a good fit, please contact us before booking.
What should I bring?
Mainly your dog’s food for the stay. Any other details are discussed before arrival, depending on your dog’s routine and needs.
Prices and services
What does “one day” mean for boarding?
One boarding day is counted until 10:00 the next morning. If check-out is after 10:00, an additional day is charged.
What is the boarding price?
€30 per day for stays shorter than 4 days.
€25 per day for stays of 4 days or more.
What is included in the boarding price?
Walks, socialisation, daily rhythm, supervision, and feeding according to your dog’s usual routine.
Food is not included.
What are the daycare prices?
Full day: €30
Half day: €20
Do you offer walk packages?
Yes.
One walk is €10.
A 10-walk pass is €60.
What additional services are available?
In-person consultation: €50, up to 2 hours
Walk: €10
10-walk pass: €60
Transfer: €10–20, depending on distance

Do you require a reservation fee?
Our capacity is limited, so we ask owners to let us know about changes as early as possible.
Usually, we do not require a reservation fee. In some cases — for longer stays, holidays, or repeated last-minute cancellations — a booking may be confirmed with a reservation fee.
Socialisation walks
Who are socialisation walks for?
Socialisation walks are for dogs who need practical experience moving calmly near other dogs — in town, in nature, or in everyday environments.
They are especially useful for dogs who become overly excited, tense, or unsure when they see other dogs.
Can my dog join if they pull on the lead or get excited around other dogs?
Yes. These walks are often helpful for exactly those dogs. We work gradually, at a calm pace, so the dog can feel safe and learn to move alongside others.
What are the groups like?
Groups are small and guided. Walks take place in different locations around Jūrmala, in town, or on nature trails. The pace is calm and the approach is structured.
Can puppies join?
Yes, if the puppy is vaccinated, comfortable enough to walk on lead, and ready for the environment.
In many cases, this starts around 4 months of age, but the right timing should always be discussed with your vet.
How do I sign up?
The walk schedule is usually shared in our WhatsApp group at the beginning of the month.

Payment is possible in cash or by bank transfer.
Shop — food and everyday dog items
What do you offer in the shop?
We offer selected dog food, treats, and practical everyday accessories.
Can I buy food even if I do not use daycare or boarding?
Yes. The shop is available to everyone.
Can you help me choose the right food?
Yes. If you need help, we can suggest options based on your dog’s needs.
Do you offer food for sensitive dogs?
Yes. We have options for dogs with sensitive digestion or specific needs, and we can advise if needed.
Can I collect products in person?
Yes. Products can be picked up from us, and delivery may be available depending on the situation.
Can you prepare food or items for my dog’s stay?
Yes. We can prepare food and necessary items for your dog’s daycare or boarding stay.
Can you let me know when an item is back in stock?
Yes. We can let you know when something is available again or suggest an alternative.
